I really did enjoy my sandwich. My husband enjoyed his plate of fingers. Their sauce is simular to zaxbys. The service was quick and fresh which is always GREAT! Definitely will be back! Sorry about the photos, we were already eating on our way home but I had to show the food looks appetizing and we obviously liked it

Was here before and it was very good however this time was not the case. I ordered 3 tenders ala cart. 1.69 each and a med tea. My bill was 7.98. The tenders were about 2.5 inches long and barely the size of my thumb.

Guthries is awesome and since they were around 25 years before Zaxbys I can see where Zaxbys “got” their ideas from for the tenders, fries, toast, and even the sauce. Very glad I stopped and tried Guthries. Will be back again. My wife destroyed the toast before I could even get a picture of it.

It’s about an hour drive for me , but so worth it ! I enjoy the drive to get the most amazing chicken tenders , fries and the original bread with that famous Guthrie sauce ! A short drive to lake hartwell or the dam, and enjoy the wonderful food with a beautiful scenery! This location has such a friendly staff ! I can’t wait for my next visit! Look forward to seeing a location in Athens Ga, so I can eat it more often!

The first ever trip to Guthrie's was great! Our group of 14 shared two of the tail gate specials. There was plenty of food for everyone with leftovers. The tenders and fries were cooked fresh - the dipping sauce was great, and the sweet tea is just like grandma fixed it! I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a quick, delicious meal. My only complaint would be the lack of seating in the dining room, the one table and booth is disappointing.

Ok, we just moved to Hartwell, and we have decided to try Guthrie's. I was told by a few people that they have the best chicken fingers. We, my husband and I, went to get some food. i think it was The Big G combo. Idk my husband ordered it. We wanted to go in to see what it was like, and the door was locked. The front closes at 7pm, now that was the ONLY thing that was wrong. So, 6 tenders, OMG, the chicken, was absolutely the best. It was cooked just right. Juicy and crispy all together. The fries were crinkle cut and were salted perfectly, the bread was awesome, and it came with a drink. So the drink, SWEET TEA! Southern style sweet tea with crunchy ice! It was amazing. Guthrie sauce was good, too. Definitely will be back.
